Rule of Law
The doctrine of Rules of law sates that the law is supreme. The rule of law is a fundamental principle that refers to the idea that all individuals and institutions, including the government, are subject to and bound by the law. This principle asserts that laws and regulations should be clear, consistent, and impartial, and that they should be applied equally to all. The concept of the rule of law is often associated with the idea of limited government and individual rights and freedoms. It implies that the government should not have arbitrary or unchecked power, and that citizens should be protected from the abuse of state power.
